A trichologist for east Surrey, just over the border
If you’re looking for a trichologist in Surrey, or a hair loss clinic near Oxted, Reigate or Dorking, my clinic in Forest Row is just over the Sussex border: about 25 minutes from Oxted and Lingfield straight down the A22.
I’m a consultant trichologist, registered with the Institute of Trichologists, and I’ve worked with hair loss and scalp conditions since 1999. Patients from east Surrey come to me for hair loss treatment and scalp care that starts with finding the cause.
I’m in clinic on Monday, Thursday and Saturday, and parking is free.

Hair loss treatment for Oxted, Reigate, Redhill and Dorking
Approximate drive times to the clinic outside rush hour. The A22 is the main road from east Surrey.
Hair loss treatment near Oxted
From Oxted, Hurst Green or Limpsfield, head south to the A22 at Blindley Heath, then on through East Grinstead to Forest Row. Lingfield and Dormansland are closer still, about 15 to 20 minutes.
Hair loss treatment near Reigate and Redhill
From Reigate, Redhill or Merstham, take the A25 east to Godstone, then the A22 south through East Grinstead to Forest Row. Some patients prefer the M23 to Crawley and the A264 east, which takes about the same time.
Hair loss treatment near Dorking
From Dorking, Betchworth or Brockham, follow the A25 east through Reigate to Godstone, then the A22 south.
Trichologist near Guildford
From Guildford, Cranleigh or Godalming, Forest Row is a long drive. Some patients make the trip for a first consultation; for most, a video consultation is the practical choice, with a written plan by email.
From Caterham, Godstone and Felbridge
Caterham and Godstone are on the A22 corridor, so it’s one road most of the way. Felbridge, on the Surrey border with East Grinstead, is about 10 minutes from the clinic.
Why it’s worth the trip
In clinic I can examine your hair and scalp closely, in good light and from every angle, and see how your hair is shedding and growing in different areas. That’s the most reliable way to reach a diagnosis, and parking is free.
Closer than a London clinic
For much of east Surrey, Forest Row is nearer and easier than travelling into a London hair clinic: no train into town, no congestion charge and no parking meters. The A22 brings you almost to the door, and parking at the clinic is free.
You’ll see me every time, for about an hour, with time to go through your hair history, health and lifestyle and to examine your hair and scalp closely. If tests would help, I’ll liaise with your GP or you can have them done privately.
What I can help Surrey patients with
I see women, men, teenagers and children with all hair types, with problems such as male pattern baldness, hair loss after pregnancy, seborrhoeic dermatitis and hair loss in children. See all hair and scalp conditions.
Questions from Surrey patients
If yours isn’t here, send me a message and I’ll get back to you.
Is there a trichologist in Surrey?
My clinic is in Forest Row, just over the border in East Sussex: about 25 minutes from Oxted and 35 to 40 minutes from Reigate and Redhill.
I live near Guildford. Can you help?
Yes. Guildford is over an hour away by car, so most patients there choose a video consultation, which gives you the same unhurried assessment from home. Some prefer to make the trip for the first appointment.
How do I get to the clinic from Reigate or Redhill?
Take the A25 east to Godstone, then the A22 south through East Grinstead to Forest Row. The clinic is at The Anderida Practice, Forge House, Lower Road, Forest Row RH18 5HE.
Is there parking?
Yes, and it’s free. There may be space in front of Java & Jazz; if not, there are two free public car parks a short walk away.
Do I need a GP referral?
No. You can book directly with me.
